Welcome to Episode 5

This week we are talking all things homeschooling, positive parenting and basically how we are going to manage the juggle of work…with the massive elephant in the room…kids at home 24/7! These really are crazy times and to avoid going crazy ourselves I’ve wheeled in the big guns in the form of Josie from ‘Positive Parenting with Josie’.

If you want to know how to manage your week, how to ensure you stay sane and how the hell you will cope with your little darlings (ahem) at your feet (with no end in sight…gah!) then this is the episode for you.

Josie is massively positive, and absolutely knows her sh*t when it comes to helping parents understand and better connect with their children, their emotions, needs and wants, whilst helping parents to stay sane. This is parenting that feels good.

Positive discipline parenting is about being kind and firm at the same time, building a deep respectful and loving connection. This approach to parenting is different to parenting techniques we know, use and have usually experienced.

Positive discipline is not pessimistic or corrective nor a free-for-all and overly tolerant, it is completely in the middle. When we understand why the misbehaviour happens we can support and guide our children while focusing on problem solving with both parent and child. Positive Parenting with Josie is not about being perfect. It’s about doing the best you can, and being the best version of yourself.

I hope you enjoy the episode and as always I would love your feedback, don’t forget to hit the subscribe button too so you get to hear as soon as new episodes go live.
