Hello and a big warm welcome to The Grit&wit podcast.

If you are juggling running a business and family commitments, and often your sanity, you are in the right place. I’m Liz from elevate and I will be your host. I’m a mum of three (10 years and under) so I know all about challenges of navigating the nap time hustle and later school runs around running a thriving business, but this is not another ‘mompreneur’ type of show (I absolutely hate that word!) This show is for intelligent, ambitious women who want to grow their businesses, whilst maintaining balance and without sacrificing their soul.

I’ll be chatting with inspiring guests who are sharing their stories and practical advice to help you navigate the highs and lows of running a business, with Grit&wit.

This is the first ever episode, which is massively exciting to see brought into the world, especially as its come to life in such a short space of time. Take a whistle stop tour of what to expect from the Grit&wit podcast, along with some of my story.

Always destined to run my own business, the signs were there very early on; from selling sweets in the school playground and undercutting the school tuck shop, to starting a popular Madonna fan club and selling magazines in the playground, through to setting up as a mobile DJ aged 17! The path has been interesting, exciting and and often scary (imposter syndrome anyone?) but I'm at the point where I’ve been teaching IRL for a number of years and want to share what I’ve know with a wider audience, discuss the often non-linear journey, and help you to elevate your business quickly (without all the wasted hours watching you tube tutorials!)
