Welcome to Episode 7

This week Kate Hughes and I are talking about how to stay sane, and look after your mental health with mindful meditation during this very tricky time. This is the perfect time to try meditation for the first time, with plenty of things that feel overwhelming and stressful going on in the world but with more time at home than ever before. This could be the thing you add to your toolbox to help get you through the tough times and it could literally change your life. It certainly changed my guest Kate’s life!

Kate unpacks the differences between mindfulness and meditation, and gives practical ways to get started small ways, when time is at a premium. Kate’s style is super relaxing, yet totally transformative. Don’t let the word meditation put you off, there is no chanting and not a monk in sight!

I cannot recommend Kate’s classes enough, and Kate has very generously put together a free guided meditation for us to enjoy at home straight away focusing on gratitude. Thanks Kate!

I really hope you enjoy the episode and as always I would love your feedback, don’t forget to hit the subscribe button too so you get to hear as soon as new episodes go live.
